This invitation envisions an exhibition for an influential contemporary artist, Takashi Murakami. He created the term “Superflat” which launched a postmodern art movement. The name “Dimensions” was given to summarize the idea of Superflat. Murakami wanted to explore the flatness and the two-dimensionality seen in Japanese anime. Dimensions pieces include an invitation, a save the date, a postcard RSVP, badge cards, and an app that will be used during the exhibition.
